Hey there Snow, it's been quite some time, sorry I haven't stopped by, in full disclosure I was slightly hurt when you didn't pick up that lottery ticket from 7-11 the other day
To be clear, it's not God I am angry at, and neither am I angry at those who exercise the freedom to worship as they see fit, up to and including not worshipping nor even believing at all, We were not given the gift of free will here in Heaven with any expectation to not accept it
Our opinions differ in that you blame religion, for the evil things that man has done, I blame men
those who carried out the acts, those who disseminated the lies and enforced their acceptance as Truth, and these days the fault is on the shoulders of every person who turns a blind eye to these men and the lies which give them power
but I don't blame God nor religion, denial of Truth takes practice, as does living honestly so that you may know Truth
you are either laboring for Truth so that others may understand, or you are laboring for the lies that confuse others and empower the tyranny of evil men
I can only say that I don't see much of anything as being so clearly defined as to be either all right or all wrong, and, cynic that I often am, I don't believe that many people are consciously working to promote a lie. Certainly some are, most notably among politicians, preachers, and CEOs, but I suspect that most people are either struggling along doing the best they can, or they're deluded or lost in their own rationalizations. As a boy, I attended one of the more nutty churches--the Church of Christ--but I still don't doubt that most of them thought they were promoting truth.
I triple-dog-dare you to say it, in writing (you can do anonymously if you are ascarid) and you have my word I will delete it per your request if you later regret it and are not able to remove the words yourself.
Cajole, threaten, kill, and burn, that's the common view of God okay.
